Arsenal now interested in signing England international Bukayo Saka loves playing with

The transfer window may have only just closed, but Andrea Berta is always on the lookout for a deal.
Indeed, the market never truly stops in this day and age as Sporting Directors, scouts and managers are constantly scanning the footballing landscape looking for their next deal.
Arsenal are in a strong position right now, but there are still some holes to plug in the squad, notably in attack.
However, the Gunners are now, once again, being linked with a new defensive addition, as, according to TeamTalk, Mikel Arteta’s side are amongst the clubs keen on Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Arsenal keen on Trent Alexander-Arnold
According to TeamTalk, Arsenal are among the teams keen on signing Trent Alexander-Arnold from Real Madrid.
Alexander-Arnold hasn’t exactly had the best start to life in Madrid, he was benched for Dani Carvajal more often than not last season, he missed out on the World Cup squad and Denzel Dumfries was signed this summer as added competition too.
Therefore, a few teams are looking at this situation, including Arsenal.
However, Alexander-Arnold is apparently not planning on leaving Madrid at this point, so Arsenal may be barking up the wrong tree.
Bukayo Saka’s past comments on Trent Alexander-Arnold
If Arsenal were able to pull off a deal to sign Alexander-Arnold, Bukayo Saka would probably be pleased.
Indeed, Saka has previously commented on how much he loves playing alongside Alexander-Arnold after working with him for England.
“For us attackers, it’s a joy to play with him. He’s always looking forward, always looking in behind and trying to threaten the backline,” Saka said to the BBC.
“When he plays, the opposition is a bit scared. You never know where he can find the spaces, which pass he is going to play. He’s definitely appreciated in the team.”
That isn’t the only time Saka has praised Alexander-Arnold either, he’s given him similar praise after another England game.
“He’s a top player. At half-time he said to me he was going to do that pass,” Saka said.
“When I scored I was looking for him to thank him. I didn’t have to break my stride.”
Alexander-Arnold to Arsenal doesn’t look likely, but if it does happen, Saka will be over the moon.
