Arsenal now interested in signing a ‘super talent’ who Jurgen Klopp loves

The summer transfer window may have only just closed, but Arsenal are still on the lookout for their next deal.

Andrea Berta is famous for always having a few plates spinning, and, more often than not in recent years at Arsenal, defenders have been top of the agenda.

Indeed, for one reason or another, Arsenal can’t seem to go a year without signing a new defender, and now, according to Christian Falk, the north London club are now looking at one of the Bundesliga’s most promising defenders.

Arsenal interested in Finn Jeltsch

According to the journalists, Arsenal are among the teams interested in signing Finn Jeltsch from Stuttgart.

Falk notes that Bayern Munich are keen on the youngster, but Arsenal are in the mix too, which could force Bayern to move more quickly on this front.

“Then we come to another rumour, which again involves Spain, namely that Real Madrid wants Bayern Munich candidate Finn Jeltsch. Is that true or not true?” Falk was asked.

“That’s not true,” Falk said.

“But I also have to say, it’s not like it ‘s completely made up. Of course , he’s on the list. He’s with the national team now, the guy from Stuttgart, a regular starter at VfB Stuttgart, a super talent, but he’s still firmly on Bayern Munich’s list .

“If Bayern are looking for another centre-back, then Fin Jeltsch will be very high up.

“Yeah, top attributes, a real presence, and a confident guy. And likeable, by the way. He also spoke recently with us media representatives.

“So, yeah, I’m curious to see what happens. At VfB Stuttgart he’s now a regular starter, having played almost every game this season for the full 90 minutes.

“Sebastian Hoeness is really someone who supports him, who pushes him, and Jürgen Klopp is also supposed to be a big fan of Jeltsch because he ‘s technically gifted, but also strong in tackles and good at initiating attacks. English clubs like Arsenal and Liverpool have him in their sights, they have their eye on him, and that’s why Bayern Munich would be well advised to get involved early and really observe him.”

Whether or not Arsenal get this deal done remains to be seen, but it appears this is one to keep an eye on.

Arsenal don’t necessarily need more defensive reinforcements, but if there is a departure at the back, Jeltsch could well be the player the Gunners look towards.
