Arsenal are set to welcome four new players to the club in 2027. The work has been done by the club’s recruitment and scouting team, and the Gunners have already secured pre-agreements with several top young stars to bolster their ranks.
While the players are exceptionally young, football.london understands the opportunity to train with the first team will be available, with the quartet already having senior experience, some with both international sides and their club teams.
football.london asked Mikel Arteta recently about the club’s push to sign young stars. “Well, it's together as a club,” he said, highlighting the planning headed up by new Academy Director Pascal de Maesschalck.
“We know that if we want to constantly maintain this level and have the pathway already in-house, which is the best way, obviously, to bring players from the academy or from the youth teams to us, they need to be one of the best in the world at recruiting. Recruiting in the country, recruiting abroad, the best talent that we possibly can to give us the best chance to sustain that level.”
As a result, football.london has delved into the quartet to see how they have been faring this season ahead of the biggest year of their careers, where their move to Arsenal will materialise, and they begin to work with some of the world’s top stars.

The now 17-year-old agreed to join the Gunners and will arrive earlier than the other three on our list this January. The attacking midfielder, who can only play off the left, has been out with an injury for an extended period of time due to a significant muscle problem.
He has not played since May and missed out on Shamrock Rovers' UEFA Conference League qualifying campaign, where they were eliminated by KuPS. Prior to his injury, he was featuring regularly in the League of Ireland Premier Division, mainly playing a central attacking midfield role.
He is yet to score at the senior level in the league, but in July of last year, he scored in an FAI Cup win over Wexford FC. Rovers’ manager Stephen Bradley has been very praising of Ozhianvuna, even calling on Ireland head coach Heimir Hallgrímsson to include him in the national team squad for experience.
"There’s no one that can tell me that kid shouldn’t be in the Ireland squad," he said. "You don’t want to be blooding him in games that you have to win.
“I think they should put him in now so when the future comes, he’s ready. I promise you, get him in that camp and in 10 minutes he’ll show what he is about."
Andria Bartishvili is a Georgian wonderkid. football.london spoke to his under-21s national team coach Ramaz Svanadze about the 17-year-old and he had only huge praise for the player.
“He's somebody who can make a real difference on the pitch,” he said. “And he's got the individual ball skills that are becoming increasingly rare in modern football, somebody who wants to pick the ball, take players on, use his technical dribbling skills very much like Kvaratskhelia himself.”
The teen hasn’t featured since August, however, after suffering what is believed to be an ankle issue. But he has been playing in Iberia 1999’s European qualifying run and will help kick off the club’s Conference League campaign if he recovers in October away to St Truiden.
Bartishvili is an attacking midfielder who specialises playing off the left. He has fantastic pace and dribbling ability and has an eye for a strike from range too, and has already been likened to some of the best players in the world such as Kevin De Bruyne.
The two Quintero twins joined Arsenal together in a deal which could reach £9million from Independiente. Both have made senior appearances in the Ecuador top flight, Edwin even managed to score on his debut and has since become a starter in the last two games playing at right midfield.
Holger, who typically plays in central midfield, started with his brother in Independiente’s last match during a 3-2 away win. The pair are both still 17 years old but have been spoken of highly, including by Ecuadorian Arsenal left-back Piero Hincapie.
“They are very good players, they are doing well and taking care of themselves,” he said. “I hope they arrive in this great team in the best possible condition. We welcome them with open arms.”
All four players will be with the team for pre-season in the summer and will be aiming to earn a call-up by Arteta for what is hoped to be a successful summer following a potential back-to-back Premier League win.
