Arsenal fans all say the same thing about Bruno Guimaraes after Brighton horror show
Arsenal have suffered a humiliating defeat against Brighton and Hove Albion.
The Gunners could’ve matched a 123-year-old record with a win, but they were second-best from start to finish and deservedly lost 3-0.
Not one Arsenal player can really hold their head up after that performance – many of them should be embarrassed by their showing.
Arsenal fans are not happy with any of them, but Bruno Guimaraes seems to have upset them the most on his first start.

Guimaraes would’ve wanted to kick on and have a big impact following his game-changing performance against Sunderland last weekend.
However, the Brazilian had a shocking first half and was the first player to be taken off in the second period after a truly disappointing display.

One tweeted: “Bruno has been awful! So slow to get to everything.”
Another wrote: “Feel bad for Declan Rice, Bruno has been so lazy today. He has to cover double the distance because Bruno can’t be bothered.”
“Sloppy from Bruno all around. Should’ve started MLS and subbed him on later,” said another.
Another frustrated Gooner posted: “Mikel Arteta starting Bruno is where the game was lost. He couldn’t hold possession or progress the ball through the middle.”
“Well, Arteta messed this up. Why try to fix something that’s not broken? No point benching MLS for Bruno G. He was terrible all game,” tweeted another.

Arteta had barely put a foot wrong this season, but his decision to start Guimaraes instead of Myles Lewis-Skelly has proved to be incorrect.
Arsenal needed someone to deal with Brighton’s intense high press, and unfortunately, the Brazilian was not the right man for the job. He lost the ball on nine occasions.
Lewis-Skelly has proven his ability to break the press with his ability to drive past people. Arsenal really lacked that against the Seagulls this afternoon.
This should be a reality check for Arsenal – they were cruising and perhaps got a little complacent today. Arteta cannot allow this to happen again this season.
