All of Arsenal’s results v Manchester City between 2009 and 2017 as 115 charges decision made

Manchester City are set to be found guilty on almost all 115 financial charges they face and it’s worth noting Arsenal’s results against them during that period.
City are set to be punished for the period between 2009 and 2017 as reports today suggested they will be found guilty on almost every allegation.
For the rest of the Premier League, Arsenal included, this could be huge.
Financial compensation is likely for every team in the league, while many teams will look back at results from that period and question their validity.
For Arsenal, that period was very much a mixed bag but certainly, some games were extremely tight and might well have gone another way had City not had near unlimited resources.
Arsenal’s results v Man City between 2009 and 2017
While it’s not exactly worth a lot at the moment, it’s definitely worth noting just how the Gunners got on against City during this period.
If we look at the games overall across all competitions, it’s very even. Arsenal won six of the 20 games played in the period, with City winning eight and another six ending in a draw.
Remarkably, City and Arsenal never met in a final during this period, with the 2018 EFL Cup final win for City being the only time around this period.
Interestingly, Arsenal did beat City in the Community Shield in 2014, rendering the Manchester club’s actions irrelevant on this occasion.
As we can see from the results, there were some fierce and tight battles in there for City and the Gunners.
All this will likely be part of Arsenal and every club’s defence from that time period.
