Arsenal keeps door open for attacker to leave this summer
Gabriel Martinelli has turned down a move to Galatasaray during this transfer window, but Arsenal have continued working on his departure from the club and have kept the door open for a transfer to take place. Martinelli has been an important player for the Gunners in recent seasons and contributed to their success last term, but the club now wants to revamp its left wing.

Martinelli Left Out of Arsenal Squad

Galatasaray were prepared to invest a significant sum in Martinelli, but the forward does not believe a move to Turkiye makes sense for him at this stage of his career. He remains determined to consider other opportunities before deciding where his future lies.
Brazilian Targets European Move
At 25, Martinelli could still secure a move to one of the major clubs in Europe’s top five leagues. His representatives are therefore working to find him an agreement with one of those clubs, while Arsenal will hope that a suitable offer arrives soon.
The Gunners have already started reshaping their attacking options, and Martinelli’s potential departure would allow them to continue that process. Although he has been a key contributor in recent seasons, the club appears ready to move in a different direction.
For Martinelli, the priority is finding a destination that matches his ambitions. Rejecting Galatasaray gives him more time to explore his options, while Arsenal remain willing to facilitate his departure.
