Bruno Guimaraes jokes he may have to change his name after what he has seen at Arsenal

Bruno Guimaraes is loving life at Arsenal.
The Brazilian joined the Premier League champions from Newcastle United after weeks of negotiations, and he has already shown his class.
Guimaraes was absolutely outstanding in the first half of the Community Shield against Manchester City, and Arsenal fans can’t wait to see more of him.
The midfielder is settling in nicely behind the scenes too, and there are a few familiar faces.
Bruno Guimaraes jokes he may have to change his name to ‘Gabriel’ because of Arsenal’s Brazilian trio
Arsenal have a big Brazilian contingent in their squad.
Gabriel Martinelli is one of Arsenal’s longest-serving players, as is Gabriel Magalhaes. Fellow Brazilian Gabriel Jesus joined the club in 2022 and has been a key part of the squad.
Bruno Guimaraes has played with and against all three players over the years, and he appears to be a big fan of all of them.
In an interview on Men in Blazers, the midfielder was asked about the trio and how he would describe each of them.
For Jesus, he said: “Trophies. A lot of trophies he has in England.
When asked about the other two, he replied: “Martinelli is quick, and Big Gabi, power!”
Then, Guimaraes couldn’t resist a joke about the three players’ first names. He said: “I probably have to change my name to Gabi Guimaraes now. Because there are only Gabis here at Arsenal.”
Bruno Guimaraes may have to bid farewell to two of his compatriots at Arsenal soon
The three Gabriels would’ve been happy to see a fellow Brazilian in Guimaraes arrive at the club earlier this summer.
However, two of them could be on their way out.
Jesus is in talks over a move to Napoli before the window shuts, while Al-Hilal have started negotiations to sign Martinelli in the coming days (The Athletic).
Both players were left out of Arsenal’s last two matchday squads, and it is very likely that they will be sold.
