Arsenal tipped to win title by more than 20 points

Pundit Adrian Durham is convinced that Arsenal will dominate the Premier League this season and has even tipped them to finish more than 20 points clear at the top when the campaign ends.

The Gunners are the most stable big team in the league this season, having retained their manager and most of their key players. Mikel Arteta’s side also showed their readiness for the new campaign after beating Manchester City in the Community Shield at the weekend.

Arsenal Backed for a Dominant Season

Arsenal will continue working to make their season even better when the league campaign gets underway this weekend. Their performance on Sunday showed that this team is among the best around, and they will hope to carry that form into their league matches.

The Gunners are unlikely to be perfect throughout the campaign, but their strong squad and continuity under Arteta have created optimism. They will now look to maintain their level against different opponents and build on their encouraging start.

Durham believes Arsenal have the quality and stability required to win the league comfortably. He expects them to continue beating teams week after week and finish the campaign with a remarkable advantage over their closest rivals.

Durham Predicts Record Title Margin

Durham believes Arsenal could even establish a new record for the biggest margin of victory by a Premier League title winner. He expects the Gunners to dominate the competition if their current confidence continues.

He said on Talk Sport:

“I think Arsenal will win the title by more than 20 points and that will be a new record for a margin of victory for title winners since the Premier League began.

“Liverpool were 18 points ahead of City in the COVID season, City finished 19 points ahead of United in 2018, that’s the record.

“Arsenal are so together as a club, they’ve built on the squad that they’ve had last season. They seem to have this confidence and air of authority the title win has brought them. And the lack of contenders to challenge them can make them even more confident.”

Durham’s prediction reflects his confidence in Arsenal’s strength and stability. The Gunners will now have to prove that belief correct over the course of the season.
