Marcell Washington and a Marli Salmon train with Arsenal first-team ahead of Napoli game

U21s left-back Marcell Washington trained with the Arsenal first-team squad today.

Marli Salmon was also called upon for the session.

Washington, 19, is unlikely to be eligible to feature in the Champions League this season as he wasn’t included on the A-List and isn’t eligible for the B-List due to the length of time he has been at the club.

Arsenal also need to make a decision regarding whether Salmon will be named on the bench for the first-team against Napoli in the Champions League or instead feature in the Youth League against the same opponents. Max Dowman is likely to find himself in a similar situation to Salmon.
