Coverage of Arsenal Women’s pre-season friendlies on Arseblog News

Arsenal Women have played three BCD pre-season friendlies so far this summer, against Crystal Palace, AC Milan and Manchester City. They will play in front of a crowd for the first time this summer on Sunday when they play Paris FC at Boreham Wood at 1pm.
Then on Wednesday, they play Charlton Athletic at Boreham Wood at 7pm. Arseblog News will be at the Paris FC and Charlton Athletic games and will provide coverage. We are unlikely to write a match preview for either game given it is pre-season.
However, we will post the line-ups and we will speak to Renee Slegers post-match and bring you those quotes too. We will also have photographer Nina Farooqi to take some images for us. I will likely write an opinion piece after both matches as well. Jamie and I will record a podcast after both games have taken place (likely available Thursday or Friday next week).
For 2026-27, you can expect the usual coverage of Arsenal Women on Arseblog News, including; attendance at every match and every press conference, match previews, line-up posts, Renee Slegers’ post-match press conference quotes where we will always ask our allotted questions, pre-match press conference coverage where we will do the same, on the whistle match reports, tactical analysis pieces, a podcast after every WSL game, matchday vlogs from the Emirates, transfer exclusives and other exclusive reporting around the team, as well as some player interviews sporadically during the campaign. And don’t forget to sign up for our free weekly Arsenal Women Newsletter.
If you are an Arseblog Patron, there is also an Arsenal Women channel on our discord server too (I am active there). Patreon membership is just $6 per month, plus VAT/sales tax depending on where you are, and that’s the same price it was when we launched in 2018.
The women’s team coverage will remain free of charge on the site and we carry no advertising on the site or the apps, there is no AI generated content, myself, Aidan, Jamie, Jason and Miedemastuff are all fans of Arsenal Women and everyone is paid to do what they do, we are under no pressure to chase clicks or generate subpar content for advertising cash.
The site pays for the coverage from patreon sign ups. If you want to contribute you can do so here. But to reiterate, everything that has always been free is staying free. Thank you for reading, listening to and trusting us. Our promise is to continue with the quantity and quality of the coverage. Let’s get it!
