Bruno Guimaraes sends social media message to Arsenal fans after helping them beat Man City
Arsenal got their hands on the first available trophy of the season by beating Man City to win the Community Shield.
A goal inside 30 seconds from Riccardo Calafiori got the Gunners on their way before Kai Havertz and then Martin Odegaard wrapped things up.
Of course, the win was a big one for Arsenal but many Gunners fans had an eye on Bruno Guimaraes and how his debut would go.
As expected, Guimaraes produced a fine debut display and he’ll be delighted to get his hands on silverware so quickly.
And now, Guimaraes has took to Instagram to send his first trophy winning message to Arsenal fans.

Alongside Myles Lewis-Skelly in the middle of the park, Guimaraes looked more than assured in Arsenal red.
He helped dominate a Rodri-less midfield and ultimately, showed just why Arsenal bought him. Now, over on Instagram, Guimaraes has expressed his delight at getting off the mark.

Bruno Guimaraes’ stats for Arsenal v Man City
It was astute and effortless performance from Guimaraes without being spectacular or, in fairness, having to be.
He completed 18 of 22 passes in his 45 minutes on the pitch, while also winning both duels he got involved with and completing a single successful clearance.
Clearly, there is a lot more to come from Guimaraes in an Arsenal shirt but Mikel Arteta was clear in his opinion of just how much the Brazilian can help his team.
On the evidence of today, Guimaraes and Arsenal are going to get on just fine and another title-winning season could well be on the cards.
