How Victor Osimhen feels about playing for Arsenal amid talk of £100m-plus transfer deal

Victor Osimhen to Arsenal is another rumour doing the rounds as we close in on the final few weeks of the summer transfer window.
Osimhen has gone under the radar a bit in recent seasons but he remains a goal threat and has been impressive at Galatasaray since signing.
With Arsenal looking for another new forward, talk is rife that the Gunners are looking to try and wrap up a loan deal for Osimhen before the window shuts.
Quite whether that deal is possible – Galatasaray’s owners want over £100m for a permanent switch – remains to be seen.
However, in terms of Osimhen’s desire to play in England, that is clear.
Victor Osimhen dreams of playing in the Premier League
Victor Osimhen will be on huge money in Turkey. The clubs over there at the highest level offer big salaries and can often tempt players from any league.
However, it doesn’t have the same quality as the Premier League and speaking back in 2023, Osimhen was clear in his intentions to experience England.

“A lot of people worldwide consider the Premier League the best and the strongest league. I’m working so hard to make sure I achieve my dream of playing in the Premier League one day,” Osimhen commented in 2023.
The key for Arsenal now will be trying to convince Galatasaray to do a deal.
Another potential spanner in the works is how Osimhen behaves in all of this. We saw at Napoli how his time there ended up turning sour due to his desire to leave and if that surfaces again, it might well put Mikel Arteta off.
Arsenal are all about a team ethos and it’s something Arteta has spent years building up.
Should Osimhen show any signs of ill-discipline or trying to force things, that will catch the attention of the Gunners boss.
Nevertheless, if things go smoothly and a deal can be done, there is no doubting Osimhen can be an asset for Arsenal or any big European club.
