Report: Arsenal set to sign 16-year-old Liverpool striker Vincent Joseph

Arsenal have agreed to sign 16-year-old Liverpool striker Vincent Joseph according to The Athletic.

The report states that the two clubs are in talks over a compensation deal in order to avoid a tribunal.

Joseph, who would be a first year scholar if the deal goes ahead, has represented England at U16 level.

The prospect has also featured for Liverpool U18s, scoring three goals in two league appearances at that level.

Arsenal announced a rather small scholarship intake after losing Kyran Thompson and Mishel Nduka.

However, they have looked to bring in reinforcements and are reportedly set to sign Cardiff midfielder Axel Donczew (via Fabrizio Romano) and Crystal Palace forward Mylo Bernard (via The Secret Scout).
