What Liverpool fans are saying now after hearing Jarell Quansah could join Arsenal speaks volumes

Jarell Quansah is the latest defender to be linked with a move to Arsenal.
A Premier League winner with Liverpool, the Englishman left them for Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2025, and he has been excellent for them.
Arsenal need cover at the back due to William Saliba and Jurrien Timber’s injuries, and Andrea Berta has now identified Quansah as a target.
Most Gooners seem open to the idea of signing Quansah this summer, but how do Liverpool fans feel about their former player donning a different shade of red next season?
Some Liverpool fans react to Jarell Quansah to Arsenal links
Liverpool supporters loved Quansah when he came through the ranks at their club and broke into the first team under Jurgen Klopp.
Many of them were against selling him last summer, and seeing him potentially on the move to Arsenal seems to have upset them.
One Liverpool fan reacted to the news by saying: “Jarell Quansah to Arsenal would break me. A sale that should have never been sanctioned last season.”
Another tweeted: “Liverpool are the joke that keeps giving. If this deal goes through, the recruitment team and the transfer committee all need sacking. The club is an absolute shambles top to bottom.”
“It amazes me how many Liverpool fans didn’t rate him. He should never have been sold,” wrote another.
Another Reds fan said: “That transfer will hurt me as a Liverpool supporter.”
“Everyone involved in selling Quansah should be sacked. Doesn’t make any sense. Worst of all, they prioritised Konate, who was kept in check by Virgil van Dijk. And what do you know? He leaves on a free. I remember Klopp benching Konate for Quansah,” wrote another.

Liverpool fans’ reaction to Jarell Quansah potentially joining Arsenal speaks volumes
The reaction from a section of Liverpool fans above is really interesting.
Not only do they rate Quansah really highly, but many of them seem bothered by the possibility of him joining Arsenal.
That should encourage Gooners as they determine whether the Englishman would be a good signing for them in William Saliba and Jurrien Timber’s absence.
It’s still unclear whether Arsenal will make an official move to sign Quansah this summer, but the reaction from Liverpool fans is a clear positive.
As a backup until Saliba is back, we have no problem at all with this signing.
