Gabriel says how many trophies Arsenal want to win in the 26/27 season, ‘We know the process…’

Gabriel Magalhaes ended the season for Arsenal in the cruellest way possible as his penalty miss handed the Champions League title to PSG.
The Brazilian defender skied his penalty to end Arsenal’s season in heartbreaking fashion and then at the World Cup, Brazil also failed to do the business.
For Arsenal fans, Gabriel very much remains a crowd favourite and ahead of this season, he’s again a key man.
In terms of that disappointment from the European final, Gabriel knows he and his teammates have to get over it. And with that in mind, he’s explained just where the mindset is right now.
Gabriel wants to win every single trophy for Arsenal this season
Gabriel has formed one of the best defensive partnerships in Europe alongside William Saliba. But with Saliba facing time out, the Brazilian will need to step up further this next few months.
In terms of the team in general though, Gabriel has revealed that everyone is keen to use the loss to PSG as motivation and get going again.
“I think for me it is a motivation and of course we want to win every trophy. But we know the process and of course, we are motivated to go again to win as many as possible,” Gabriel explained.

Reflecting on the disappointment, the Brazilian continued.
“Like I say, it is a motivation for us and we know the quality we have and how we want to win again. There are five trophies to play for and we will go for it.
“We are in the right position [to win both the Champions League and Premier League]. We have to work hard, we know how hard it is to win each championship but I think we are ready.”
With Mikel Arteta still keen on signing another new defender, we could well end up seeing Gabriel alongside someone brand new for a while.

For now, though, the focus is on Chelsea tomorrow and from there, getting the league campaign up and running successfully.
Gabriel is going to be vital and as he says, putting that penalty miss behind him is going to be huge. As it will be for every Arsenal player.
