Is Lewis–Skelly deliberately trying to get Arsenal’s attention with these rumours?

Myles Lewis-Skelly has been linked with an exit from Arsenal this summer, and in the final days of the transfer window, he could still be considered one of the possible departures from the Emirates.

The midfielder has done well since breaking into the Gunners’ team and has continued to impress whenever he plays for them. However, his situation could change once the rest of Arsenal’s players are fully fit and available for selection.

The source says the rumours are being fuelled by his agents, who want the Gunners to understand that he is a top player who deserves more game time as well as greater respect at the club.

The situation therefore appears to be less straightforward than the transfer rumours suggest. While other clubs remain interested, Lewis-Skelly’s representatives are reportedly focused on ensuring that Arsenal recognise his importance and provide him with the opportunities he believes he deserves.

Lewis Skelly Wants to Stay

The midfielder would reportedly prefer to remain at Arsenal, and the speculation surrounding his future appears to have had an effect. He has been handed a bigger role in the team since the beginning of this season, giving him another opportunity to establish himself as an important member of the squad.

His recent involvement will be encouraging, particularly after the uncertainty surrounding his position earlier in the transfer window. Arsenal have always valued his ability, and his performances have given the club another reason to keep him involved.
