4 Arsenal players make Team of the Week for Chelsea win

Arsenal put in an excellent team performance to beat Chelsea in Sunday’s Premier League fixture, with strong individual displays across the park from Mikel Arteta’s players in their 2-1 victory.
Troy Deeney appeared to agree, picking four Arsenal players for his BBC Team of the Week, with David Raya, Ezri Konsa, Martin Odegaard, and Kai Havertz all making the cut.
Deeney highlighted Raya’s “huge saves” against Chelsea, suggesting the Spaniard is currently “the best goalkeeper in the league”.
The former striker picked Konsa for his “solid performance” and “massive tackle on Morgan Rogers“, adding that Arteta might have to find a way to keep Konsa in the team when everyone is fit.
Deeney called Odegaard a “captain, leader, and a massive winner”, and suggested Havertz is Arsenal’s “best striker…best football…and also their best finisher”.
Stat website WhoScored also selected Odegaard and Havertz for their Team of the Week, with Odegaard getting a 7.80 rating, and Havertz an 8.16 rating.
WhoScored highlighted Odegaard’s two big chances created and two accurate through balls as part of his selection, as many as anyone else in the league managed during Matchday 3.
As for Havertz, the striker’s equaliser and dummy for Odegaard’s winner made him an easy pick up front.
