Gary Neville fully agrees with Jamie Carragher's Arsenal vs Chelsea prediction

Arsenal welcome Chelsea for the first London derby of the season, and the predictions for the game are coming in.
Mikel Arteta hasn’t lost a game against the Blues in over five years, and he would love nothing more than to get another win on Sunday.
Arsenal will go into the game as the favourites on Sunday, and most people are backing a comfortable win for the Gunners.
Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher are two such people.
Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher predict the Arsenal vs Chelsea score
Games between Arsenal and Chelsea have mostly been one-sided affairs over the last five seasons.
The Gunners have won eight and drawn three of their last 11 games against the Blues, which is a very dominant record.
After comfortably winning their first two games, Arsenal are expected to make it three in three on Sunday, even though Xabi Alonso’s side have had a great start to the new season.
On Stick to Football, Neville and Carragher were both asked to reveal their prediction for the game.
Carragher replied: “I was thinking 2-0. Once they get two, they are happy with two and (will see out the game).”
Neville was in complete agreement.
He said: “Yeah, we’ll go 2-0 Arsenal.”

Arsenal need to break their third-game curse
Arsenal have developed a problem with the third game of their Premier League season in recent years.
In the 2025/26 season, they comfortably won the first two and then suffered a defeat to Liverpool. In the season before, they were held to a 1-1 draw by Brighton after back-to-back victories.
Even in the 2023/24 campaign, they drew 2-2 to Fulham after wins in their first two fixtures.
This season, Arsenal have two wins in two already, and there are fears that the third-game curse could strike when Chelsea come to the Emirates on Sunday.
Hopefully, Arteta’s men can end that run.
