Gabriel Martinelli is poised to leave Arsenal after seven years, with a move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal expected to go through shortly. The 25-year-old Brazilian had been subject to interest from a number of clubs this summer after falling down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium.
Christos Tzolis has since come in to become Mikel Arteta's first-choice left winger. Martinelli’s sale is expected to be worth more than £55.7million to Arsenal.
With Arsenal failing to get another forward in before Monday's deadline, there is still the possibility they can bolster their left wing by dipping into the free agent market. Here, we take a look at six left wingers the Gunners could still swoop for.

A loan spell at Aston Villa underwhelmed too, but he is still only 26 and capable of playing on the left wing. Currently available for free and with extensive experience, the Englishman could be a safe bet for Arteta.
The Crystal Palace icon is currently unattached after his loan spell with MLS side Charlotte FC ended in the summer and he subsequently parted ways with Galatasaray.
He has most recently been training at Crystal Palace's facilities to maintain his fitness while he looks for a new challenge.

Adept on the left and right flanks, the ex-Man United star has scored goals wherever he's gone, and at 33 years old, he would inject Premier League know-how into Arteta's forward department.
Another ex-United star, Martial, is a free agent for the third time in recent years. He mutually terminated his contract with Mexican club Monterrey in June after an injury-hit spell.

At just 30 years old, he is highly experienced, having played as both a left winger and a centre-forward. He scored a very respectable 90 goals at Old Trafford across 317 games and could be a smart option from the bench.
While he made his name as a traditional No. 10, Coutinho has spent a portion of his career operating off the left wing, cutting inside onto his favoured right foot. The former Liverpool star can slot in across the front line and would offer a viable goal threat.

Like others on this list, his prime has since passed. But at 34, the Brazilian could operate as a worthy squad player, even if he's drifted from the explosive best that once made him one of the most expensive players in the world when he left Liverpool for Barcelona in 2018 for £146million.
Linked with a move to his former club Genoa and Al Shabab in Saudi Arabia this summer, the 33-year-old left winger remains a free agent. The Italian made his name with stints at Milan, Roma and Monaco.
Sixty-six goals for Roma across two spells show he has a keen eye for goal, while his time as an Italian international would help his credibility in fitting in across Arsenal's frontline.
Croatian star Rebic has represented a number of top clubs across Europe, including Milan, Fiorentina, and Besiktas. He has earned 42 caps for the Croatian national team and is currently on the hunt for a new club after leaving Hajduk Split.

Arsenal fans might remember him best for his powerful volleyed goal against Argentina in the 2018 World Cup group stage, helping Croatia reach the final.
Rebic is known for his physicality, pace and aggressive pressing. He operates primarily off the left wing, cutting inside onto his stronger right foot, but can also comfortably play as a second striker.
