Arsenal revive 'classic' early '90s adidas range debuted by Ian Wright on The Overlap
The 26/27 EQT Collection is inspired by Arsenal kits from 1992-94.
Arsenal and adidas have just dropped an all-new retro range inspired by 1990s football style. On Thursday (September 3), the club unveiled a collection of apparel including t-shirts, a track top and sweatshirt that form the Arsenal adidas 26/27 EQT Collection.
It’s touted as ‘a bold revival’ of the classic adidas Equipment line worn across the 1992-94 seasons and has been ‘revitalised for the modern era’. Eagle-eyed Gunners will have noticed Ian Wright sporting the Arsenal adidas EQT Sweater (£80) on Thursday’s episode of The Overlap’s Stick to Football podcast.
This loose-fit sweatshirt features a deep navy body and Arsenal red sleeves, along with a ribbed crewneck and retro club crest on the centre chest. There’s also the Arsenal adidas EQT Track Top (£85), a full-zip jacket with a bold red and white colour block design and retro crest on the left chest.
The Arsenal adidas EQT Jersey (£70) is designed in the style of a retro football shirt with engineered fabric and a ribbed v-neck. Either side of its deep navy body is a red and white colour block pattern running down each sleeve, with the vintage Gunners crest front and centre beneath adidas branding.
The matching Arsenal adidas EQT Track Pants (£80) feature the same design and colour patterns running down each leg, alongside authentic adidas Trefoil branding and club details. The Arsenal adidas EQT T-Shirt (£45) inverts the colour scheme with a primarily red body complemented by navy and white details.

The Arsenal adidas 26/27 EQT Collection is on sale in men’s sizes at Kitbag and adidas, with women’s and children’s sizes available at Arsenal Direct. It comes as the Gunners prepare for a huge Premier League fixture on Sunday (September 6), when they host Chelsea in the London Derby.
Mikel Arteta’s side head into the game having won both of their opening games, while Xabi Alonso’s Chelsea have also picked up six points but conceded five goals along the way. Arsenal won 2-1 in the same fixture earlier this year through goals from William Saliba and Jurriën Timber.
Sunday’s clash has been selected for TV broadcast and will air live on Sky Sports Premier League from a 4.30pm kick-off. Arsenal fans took to social media to share their first impressions of the EQT Collection.
Ian Wright wore the Arsenal adidas EQT Sweater while filming the Stick to Football podcast.
Writing on X, one said: “This ‘94 collection is pure class. Love the retro vibes, Arsenal x adidas always delivering.”
Another said: “Absolutely classic indeed.”
