John Terry says two Arsenal stars could get exposed vs Chelsea

Arsenal take on Chelsea next, and John Terry seems very excited about the game.
The Premier League legend has been involved in a number of London derbies between the two sides, and he has tasted success as well.
He is hoping with all his heart to see his beloved Blues get the better of Mikel Arteta’s champions on Sunday.
Terry has also suggested a tactic to hurt the Gunners and expose two of their players.
John Terry explains how Arsenal’s two centre-backs could get exposed vs Chelsea
Arsenal have the best defence in the Premier League.
The Gunners have conceded fewer goals than anyone else in the division in each of the last three seasons, and they are yet to let one in this campaign.
Chelsea, on the other hand, have a fantastic attack thanks to Cole Palmer, Joao Pedro and Morgan Rogers, and all three of them have started the new season well.
Terry is hoping that his old side’s attack will be able to hurt Arsenal, and he thinks that will happen if Chelsea attack the wide spaces.
The Blues legend believes that since Ben White and Riccardo Calafiori both push high, attacking the wide areas will drag Arsenal’s two centre-halves – likely Gabriel Magalhaes and Ezri Konsa – to positions where they will be exposed.

Terry said, as per The Metro: “How do you expose these centre-halves? Down the channels and down the outside, where I think we’re really strong in terms of Neto, Estevao and Morgan Rogers down that side as well, I think is going to be a real key for me.
“So if they’ve got 60, 70 minutes in, you want to drag centre-backs out of those central positions where you’re really comfortable, you’re protected, you’ve got each other side by side.
“As soon as you get pulled into those wide areas, it feels very alien, and you feel a little bit more exposed.
“So the more we can do that on the counter-attack at the weekend, I think we give ourselves a chance because Ben White and Calafiori both attack and just end up in those kinds of inverted pockets as well.
“So I think the space where they can expose them is going to be going forward high and wide for me.”
John Terry makes unsurprising Arsenal vs Chelsea prediction
Terry’s tactic above makes sense in theory, but Arsenal’s centre-backs are not silly to fall for it.
The Gunners are the best out-of-possession team in world football, and they have what it takes to contain forwards centrally and out wide.
That is why Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher both think Arsenal will beat Chelsea, as does Gunners legend Ian Wright, who has predicted a 3-1 home win.
Terry, on the other hand, believes his Blues will come out on top.
He said in his YouTube video: “Score prediction for me on Sunday, I’m going 2-1 Chelsea win. I’m going Joao Pedro and Cole Palmer with the goals for Chelsea.”
