Arsenal kicked off their Champions League campaign with a win and a dominant performance away at Napoli, but the scoreline did not reflect the opportunities Mikel Arteta’s team had to score more.

In the end, captain Martin Odegaard fired home the only goal of the game, but the Gunners were wasteful, failing to make the most of big chances in both halves.

Nevertheless, it’s a winning start to the new European season, and there was a lot to like about the performance overall.
