The Norwegian undoubtedly has immense potential, but he had an average 2025/26 season at RB Leipzig, making just nine goal contributions in 35 appearances.
He went on to have a good World Cup for Norway with a memorable long-range goal, and has started the new season in bright fashion for club and country.
Nusa has already scored three goals and provided two assists in six matches for Leipzig and recently delivered a solid performance on Nations League duty for Norway.
The 21-year-old registered an assist in the recent 3-2 win over Denmark, but also impressed in several other attributes. He won as many as 10 duels with seven recoveries.
Nusa also completed five dribbles from the left wing. He has started the new season in sparkling form. If he keeps it up, he will no doubt attract plenty of interest in January.
Arsenal generally prefer to pursue high-profile signings during summer transfer windows, but may have to change their stance and explore a mid-season deal for Nusa.
The Sun claimed in July that Leipzig were holding out for £51 million to sell him. With his stock rising, Arsenal may have to spend more to prise Nusa away this winter.
