“I love duels.” Konsa enjoyed his performance against Chelsea

Ezri Konsa produced a solid performance for Arsenal against Chelsea, snapping into tackles and winning his duels against one of the best attacks in the league at the moment.

The Englishman was fantastic and ranked among the top performers in the match, once again proving that Arsenal were right to focus on quality over quantity during the last transfer window. The Gunners wanted to strengthen their squad with players capable of making an immediate impact, and Konsa is already showing why he was considered a valuable addition.

Fresh from winning the Europa League with Aston Villa, the defender joined Arsenal and has quickly given the team another reliable option in defence. So far, it has been very difficult to ignore his performances.

Konsa shows his defensive quality

With William Saliba injured, Konsa would be expected to start alongside Gabriel in the heart of the Arsenal defence. His display against Chelsea provided another indication that he can handle the demands of playing for the Gunners and competing against dangerous attacking players.
