Arsenal fans share what they think Myles Lewis-Skelly's celebration really meant vs Como

Myles Lewis-Skelly has been the talk of the town around Arsenal recently.
The teenager is a fan favourite at the Emirates Stadium, having come through the ranks at the academy and making a terrific name for himself in the first team.
However, reports have claimed this week that Lewis-Skelly has been offered to Chelsea and Manchester United in what would be a shock transfer.
On Wednesday night, the 19-year-old started for Arsenal in their final pre-season game against Como, and he scored a good goal.
His celebration right after has led to some debate on social media.
Arsenal fans react to Myles Lewis-Skelly’s celebration vs Como
After scoring, Myles Lewis-Skelly joined his hands in the direction of Arsenal fans and then gestured a heart symbol to every stand in the ground.
The natural assumption is that he was apologising for the rumours, but some think he could be bidding farewell to the club.
One Arsenal fan tweeted: “He’s thanking for the way Arsenal fans reacted at the possibility of him leaving. No real Gunner wants him to go, and he felt this love on social media.”
Another wrote: “He’s saying sorry to the fans for the news you have seen. Proper Arsenal boy!”
“Really hope this is a “sorry about the rumours, I love this club” celebration and not “sorry, I’m leaving, I loved this club” celebration,” said another.
Another Gooner reacted by saying: “He’s gone, isn’t he?”
“It feels like a goodbye,” wrote another.

Myles Lewis-Skelly should stay and fight for his place at Arsenal
Lewis-Skelly’s celebration could either mean he is staying or confirming that he is on his way out. Only he knows the answer.
Our advice, however, would be to stay put.
Lewis-Skelly has been absolutely outstanding during pre-season, and his performance against Como on Wednesday night was excellent as well.
Yes, leaving for Chelsea or Manchester United could guarantee him immediate game time, but in the long run, it would be a terrible move because of how unstable both clubs have been in recent years.
Arsenal are the best place for Lewis-Skelly to continue developing and Mikel Arteta is the perfect manager for him. We really hope he stays and fulfils his potential at the club he loves.
