Bruno Guimaraes says Arsenal have a player who ‘defends like a lion’ even though he’s not even a defender
Bruno Guimaraes is settling in really well at Arsenal.
Newcastle United were desperate not to let their captain leave in this window, but the Brazil international decided that he wanted to become a Gunner.
After weeks of negotiations, a deal was struck between the two sides, and Arsenal welcomed Guimaraes in a whopping £75 million deal.
The midfielder seems to be impressed by the champions and many of their players. One of them, in particular, is Declan Rice.

Rice is one of the best midfielders in the world.
The England international has been unbelievable since he joined the Gunners in 2023, and he played a huge part in helping them become Premier League champions last season.
Rice has had many great battles with Bruno Guimaraes in the past, and the two players have even got into a physical fight.
However, Rice told Guimaraes to stop the fights because they are friends now, and the latter has finally opened up about how difficult it was to play against the Arsenal number 41.
He said on Men in Blazers: “He has a little bit of everything. He’s so good with the ball, but he defends like a lion.
“I would say he’s always there. His presence in the midfield is unbelievable. It was very difficult to play against him.
“Now, I can finally play with him, and I hope we can be very successful together.”
